Quick photo editing tips

A few days ago I received an email from a reader asking if I edited all of my pictures. The simple answer is yes. Every person has their own opinion about editing pictures, but every photographer I know does some type of editing on his/her pictures. For me, I would say I do some light editing about 90% of the time.

By “light editing”, I’m referring to cropping, resizing for web use, removing small specs on photo. So you can see how I do this to 90% of my pics, especially if I share them online. For regular family pictures I fix at most 10% of them. Personally I use Photoshop, but there are many other programs out there ranging from several hundred dollars, down to under $50 or even free!

Doing some simple edits to your pictures can enhance them tremendously.
